About Us Since 1996 The C.A.R.E Shop, an acronym for Caplette Auto Repair & Engineering has been helping customers solve their automotive repair needs. Our mission is to provide our clients with above standard service and repairs. The CARE Shop Team Greg Caplette President/Owner - 32+ yrs professional automotive experience I started my automotive career selling Snap-On Tools and automotive equipment. I then went on to training technicians. Once I saw how fast the cars were changing and how slow the mechanics were keeping up, I decided to open my own shop. Mark Johnson Service Manager - 28+ yrs professional automotive experience Started out as the “Kid” “(wanna be mechanic)” sweeping floors at a truck and auto fleet maintenance shop in Santa Ana. Experience and time have given me both wisdom and compassion as I help clients reach their goals. Juan Favela ASE Master Technician - 18+ yrs professional automotive experience Electrical and Computer Diagnostics are the challenges I desire. With a degree in mechanical and electrical engineering and a lifetime of real world experiences under my belt, that allows me to have confidence in my diagnosis, repairs and advice.
